Welcome to my field study for Biology B! I will be studying a plot of land (about 30 square meters) and observing the seasonal change there.

Final Pictures Post

This will be my last post for this project. When I started my field study in early September, we were reaching the end of summer and falling into the autumn season. Now we are nearing the end of fall and heading into winter. My 30x30 spot at the park has changed a lot since September, but it's been beautiful in every season. I think that points to how awesome God is. He made each season beautiful in its own unique way! Field Study #6: Final Visit

Final Visit     Today I made my last field visit for this project. It was snowing today, so it was a perfect day for my last field study. The snow made the park look so beautiful!  It was also very cold outside, so I made a shorter visit than usual. I would have loved to spend more time at the park though.      I really enjoyed this project. I normally don't have a lot of time to be outdoors, so it was fun to have an excuse to go to the park. I've enjoyed taking in the beauty of God's creation while also  making observations and learning something new. God's world is really amazing and I think I appreciate it more after all this time outside! Field Study #3

I visited my field study location for the third time this weekend. In just two weeks since my last visit, the park has changed so much that I almost didn't recognize the trail at first! It had just rained and the ground was very wet, so I'm glad I had my rain boots! The park looks beautiful in the fall- the colors are changing, and leaves are falling everywhere. I noticed so much intricate detail in the leaves. Those leaves reminded me that God designed all of His creation with so much beauty and complexity. As I left the park, I could see the start of a beautiful sunset! I am so grateful to live in a place where there are many public parks and trails for everyone to enjoy.
